Fewer pieces, chosen properly.
Picking a sofa should take an afternoon, not a month. So we do the narrowing first.
We spend most of the year with makers in Italy, France and Japan, looking at how things are actually put together. Frames, joinery, fill, finish. Then we buy the few pieces we would happily live with ourselves.
Everything else is left out, which is the whole point. If you want something we do not carry, tell us and we will find it or have it made, with one person handling the job from the first sketch to the day it lands in your room.
The Selection
A handful of pieces per room. We review it every season and drop anything that stops earning its place.
Commissions
Want it in a different size, leather or finish? We will take it to the maker and price it for you.
Delivery
Two people, worldwide. They unwrap it, build it, put it where you want it and take the boxes with them.
